Details

Stop searching for that aerodynamic edge—you’ve found it with the Fuji Transonic 2.1. Years of Fuji's aero engineering pay off as their ultra-light, C5 high-modulus carbon frame propels you through the air while providing incredible stiffness and power transfer. A full-carbon, tapered steerer lets you bank into any corner with precision and minimal drag, since the rest of the front-end is designed to ensure smooth, uninterrupted airflow to further increase speed. Experience crisp, perfect shifts with the touch of a finger thanks to Shimano’s Ultegra 11-speed Di2 electronic drivetrain, while the Oval Concepts aero wheels roll with ease. Direct-mount Shimano brakes and carbon seatpost keep the weight down and aerodynamics up, while the lightweight bar and stem from Oval Concepts ensure that you’ll be close to supersonic.

Electronic drivetrain systems deliver excellent shifting, easy set up, and solid battery life. Here are some benefits of electronic shifting that you don't want to miss.

Electronic shifting delivers exceptional performance.

Shifting Performance

Electronic shifting systems use powerful servo motors to rapidly shift the chain. Because microprocessors and sensors constantly monitor every aspect of the system, they shift with surgical precision and without chain rub.

Electronic shifting is customizable.

Customization

Many major systems have customizable shifting. Some have the ability to add remote shifters for common riding positions, and some even allow you to change the functions of the shifting buttons.

Electronic shifting is light on the maintenance.

Dependability

Electronic groupsets are responsive and consistent. There are no cables to stretch and wear out, so you get a flawless shift every time. The added bonus is you'll never have to replace a derailleur cable ever again.

Comments:

This bike just works. It is fast and handles very well. The saddle leaves something to be desired but overall it ranks with many of the more expensive bikes. Sometime I will get another set of wheels for faster acceleration but the stockers aren't bad. I'm far too old to be a racer but I have owned many bikes and this rig, with the Di-2 ranks as the best. The fit and finish is pretty darn good too.
