Comments:
I have used these gloves for my 30 minute commute in the early spring. I would say the lower limit for this glove is 2 Celsius. They are very comfortable with a soft lining, they feel great when you slide them on. I would not use these over 10 degrees or your hands will sweat. I can't comment on how waterproof they are.

Comments:
In a good rain (1/2 in per hour) the gloves will be soaked through in about 10 min. They take a while to dry out. That being said, they are still my commute go to gloves whenever the temp is above 60. They breath well and are very comfortable.
