Whether the finish line is in the Pyrenees or just at the top of your favorite local climb, Fuji's Altamira 1.0 possesses all the attributes to take you there in the lead. Made from Fuji's impressive D6 carbon, the Altamira's highly-shaped frame and massively oversize BB86 bottom bracket mean instantaneous power transfer, maximum efficiency and awesome speed. Meanwhile, the dialed seatstays flex just enough to smooth the ride for go-all-day comfort, too. Adding to the pro ride is a tapered front end and carbon fork for charging through corners with authority and blazing across the line. This super machine is equipped with featherweight Oval wheels that help you sail to new personal bests, Shimano's Dura-Ace components for precision shifting, a quality bar, stem and post from Oval and a fine Selle Italia seat you'll love.

When I was looking at buying the Altamira 1.0 I couldn't find many reviews on the net. So, now that I have bought one and had several rides I thought I should put something down. I wasn't quite ready for how good this bike is. I was blown away by the perfomance this bike gives you, stiff, yes and you know all your energy is going to driving that back wheel, yet its extremely comfortable. Cornering is like you are wearing one of those Apache helicopter weaponary helmets where the gun moves to wherever you look. That is what I liken the handling to. You come to a corner, look where you need to go and your there. We often hear the term "like its on rails" but in this case it really is true. Since I've had this bike I can't get the smile off my face. I had an older Pinarello before and the difference is just chalk and cheese. I would recommend this bike to anyone who wanted a high end bike with excellent performance, handling and ride.
ride it like you stole it or stay at home.
